This is a very big deal. For one very special Kitchen Day, we’re bringing George Motz to the pass, the man widely regarded as America’s foremost burger scholar, food historian and one of the world’s great authorities on the humble hamburger. George has spent decades travelling America, documenting the history, culture and regional quirks of the burger. He’s the filmmaker behind Hamburger America, author of The Great American Burger Book, and founder of Burger Scholar Sessions. If you care about burgers, you want to hear what this man has to say! This is our industry’s only opportunity to get up close and personal with the Burger Scholar himself. George knows the MO for Kitchen Day and has come prepared with stories and lessons and learnings for all of us. As always, expect great coffee, great people, community, conversation and plenty of kai (well, burgers. Iconic world famous burgers.) Seats are very limited. I know we say that every month, but this month we really mean it. So if you work in hospo, in the kitchen or the Front of House, this event is for you. This very special Kitchen Day is made possible through our partnership with Visa Wellington On A Plate.
