For our last Kitchen Day of the year, I'm extremely excited to be welcoming Will and Liam from Lillies in Christchurch. If you work in hospo, Lillies is likely already on your radar. Will and Liam have quietly built one of the coolest restaurants in the country, with the kind of food, energy and signature that makes other hospo folk pay attention. It’s clever without being showy, incredibly delicious, and completely its own thing. They’re also two people I've wanted to get to Kitchen Day for a long time. They’re thoughtful, talented and properly obsessed with what they do, so having them cross the Strait to cook for us and spend a morning talking shop feels pretty special. A pretty bloody good way to finish Kitchen Day for 2026, if you ask me. See you there.
